What Educational Qualification Required for the Eligible candidates?
The Candidates must possess Masters Degree/ M.Ed/ Ph.d in relevant field with 55% marks in aggregate with desired experience as per the post with minimum score card in the API based, PBAS as per UGC norms.
What is the Age Limit required for the Eligible candidates?
The Candidate age must be below 45 years for Professor post, 40 years for Associate Professor and 35 years for Asst Professor post. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale:
Professor : PB-4, Rs. 37,400-67,000 with AGP Rs.10000
Associate Professor: PB-4, Rs. 37,400-67,000 with AGP Rs.9000.
Assistant Professor: PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100 with AGP Rs.6000.
Adhyapika (Lady in charge), Mrinalini Ananda Pathasala: PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400.
Assistant Lecturer (A): PB-2, Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4800.
Assistant Lecturer (B): PB-2, Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600.
Assistant Lecturer (C): PB-2, Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200.

Application Fee Details: Candidate needs to pay the fee for posts with AGP of Rs. 9000/- & 10,000/- is Rs. 800/- and for posts with AGP of Rs. 6000/- is Rs. 400/-. Application fee must be paid in form of Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India, Santiniketan branch (2121), in favour of Accounts Officer, Visva-Bharati. SC/ST candidates need to pay 25% of prescribed fee and PWDs (handicapped 40% or above) are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Personal Interview.
Payment mode: Application form can be obtained at the office of the University on submission of Cash Coupon of required value Purchased from Cash Section, Accounts Office, and Santiniketan of the University or can be downloaded from University website www.visva-bharati.ac.in and by post if the candidate sends self addressed and Rs. 15/- stamped envelope along with DD to ‘Registrar’s Office, Visva-Bharati, P.O.-Santiniketan, Pin- 731235.
application mode: The Candidates can fill the prescribed application format, attach two photos, attest signature and attested copies of all relevant documents & DD & 12 copies of filled forms should be send to Registrar’s Office, Visva-Bharati, P.O.-Santiniketan, Pin- 731235 so as to reach on or before 28-02-2013.
