Job Details: Southern Railway proposes to engage 13 Full Time Medical Practitioners on contract basis for a duration of one year (Scheduled Caste- Nil, Scheduled Tribe-2, Other Backward Class- Nil and Unreserved-11),on details of the posts and experience required are furnished below:

Name of Post: 1. Specialist
i. Cardiac Surgeon: 01 Post
ii. Physician: 01 Post
iii. Surgeon: 01 Post
iv. Radiologist: 01 Post
v. Dermatologist: 01 Post
2. General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): 08 Posts
Number of Post: 13
Education Qualifications: Post-graduate in the specialty or equivalent Specialist post and M.B.B.S for GDMO post and registered with the Indian Medical Council. One year experience in the respective specialty is desirable.

Age: 50 years Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2013. Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules.
