TANUVAS Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification: 1. Assistant Professor: Good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant / concerned subject or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. A minimum OGPA of 2.25/4.00 or 6.50/10.00 or its equivalent is essential. The candidates should possess the basic degree of B.V.Sc. / B.V.Sc. & AH in the Veterinary and Animal Sciences Faculty posts.
2. Assistant Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
Application Fee: Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) in the form of Bank DD in favour of The Finance Officer, Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai-51 payable at Chennai to Registrar, Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University with self addressed envelope of 31cm x 13 cm having postage stamp of Rs.25/- on it.
Pay Scale: 1. Assistant Professor (Stage 1): Rs.15600-39100 + Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/-
2. Assistant Librarian (Stage 1): Rs.15600-39100 + Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/-
