Junior Research Fellow	Screening for Turcicum Blight resistance in indigenous non elite lines of maize in north east India. (DBT, GOI)	M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology &/ or biotechnology/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Botany/ Biochemistry with working knowledge of PCR-based markes. Desirable: Working knowledge in Crop plants and Plant Pathology.
	Marker assisted backcross breeding for incorporating blast resistance genes in popular cultivars of the NEH region  (DBT, GOI)	M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology &/ or biotechnology/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Botany/ Biochemistry with working knowledge of PCR-based markes. Desirable: Experience in Molecular marker assisted breeding of rice.

Emoluments : Rs. 12,000/-
