Punjab University Applications are invited on plain paper for the contractual appointment of Drivers-02 in the Panjab University on the Basic pay 5910+GP-2400+DA thereon. The Driving/Practical Test will be held on 12.4.2013(Friday) from 10.00 a.m. onwards in the Dussehra Ground (Near University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Panjab University Campus, Sector-14, Chandigarh. The Walk-in- Interview will be held in the Syndicate Room on 12.4.2013 after completion of practical test.

Punjab University Eligilibily Criteria
Education Qualification : 10th Pass from a recognized Board/Intuition.
Essential : Possession of a valid heavy driving license/passengers bus of the motor vehicles, knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove the minor defects in vehicles). Minimum 2 years experience of driving in Government, Semi Govt., Public Sector Undertakings and Institutions affiliated to Universities/Educational Boards or whosoever working/worked with taxi stands/Operators/ private individuals.
Pay Scale : Rs. 5910 + GP-2400 + DA
Age Limit : Not less than 18 years and not more than 37 years as on the closing date prescribed for receipt of applications. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
