IIT Kharagpur Recruitment 2013 – Non Teaching Vacancies Notification:

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT) Applications are invited for fill up the  various posts of Non-teaching Positions on Contract/ Deputation basis. Interested  candidates can apply through the prescribed format  on or before 12-04-2013.

IIT Kharagpur Eligibility Criteria:

Education Qualification: The Education Qualification required for the Post of  Deputy Registrar is Post graduate Degree with at least t 55% marks.

For the Post of Deputy Librarian / Senior Information Analyst  & Assistant Librarian the Qualification Master’s degree in Library science / Information Science & for the post of / Information Analyst the qualification is MCA or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering plus Bachelor’s degree in Library Science.

For the Post of  Executive Engineer (Civil) &  Engineer (Civil)  Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent with at least 8 years experience for Executive Engineer & 5 Year Experience for Engineer civil.

For the Post of   Engineer (Electrical) the Qualification is  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent with at least 5 years experience.

For the Post of  Senior Sports Officer & Sports Officer Master’s degree in Physical Education from a recognized university with at least 55% marks.

For the Post of Counsellor the Qualification is Masters degree in Psychology with specialization in clinical / social psychology with 2 years experience in psychological counselling in a Clinical, Medical or Academic institution.

For the Post of Assistant Registrar  the postgraduate degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for the posts Sl No. 1 & 2 are 55 years, 3 & 7 are 50 years, 4 is 45 years, 5, 6, 8, 9 & 10 are 40 years.

Pay Scale:  Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-3) + Grade Pay ` 5400/-  for All Posts.

Selection Process: The Selection Process is based on the basis of performance in the interview/written / screening test.
