Project Title : National Initiative of Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)

SRF	Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Physiology/ Biochemistry	MSc in Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Plant Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology. Desirable : Use of controlled environment facilities (FACE, OTC, Phytotron, Growth chamber)
	Natural resource management	MSc in Environmental Science/ Agronomy/Soil Science/ Microbiology/ Water Sciences. Desirable : Soil and plant analysis/ GHG emission/ Conservation agriculture/
	Simulation modeling, Remote sensing, GIS and Geo-informatics	MSc/M Tech (Geoinformatics/ GIS/Remote Sensing/ NRM/ Satellite Meteorology/ Geography. Desirable : Experience in use of Image Processing and GIS software, analysis of MODIS/AVHRR images for land applications, proficiency in computer programming using IDL/MATHLAB
	Plant protection	MSc in Entomology/ Pathology/ Plant protection sciences. Desirable :Simulation modeling, climate data analysis

RA (1) – PhD or MSc (with 2 years experience) in Agrometeorology/Meteorolog y/Environmental Science

Experience / Knowledge of using simulation model for crop yield forecasting, GCM/RCM based weather forecasting for agriculture

Emoluments : Rs 16,000/-
