Junior Research Fellow & Field Assistant

Applications on plain paper with biodata are invited from applicants possessing the required qualifications for JRF and Field Assistant positions in North Eastern Council, Govt. of India funded research project “Assessment and conservation of microbial biodiversity in Sacred Groves with special reference to plant growth promoting Bacillus and related genera as influenced by environmental degradation” sanctioned to Dr SR Joshi as Principal Investigator in the Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, NEHU, Shillong

(i) Junior Research Fellow (One)

• Qualifications : M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology
• Stipend : 14,000/- p.m.

(ii) Field Assistant (One)

• Qualifications : Class VIII passed. Experience of working in Life Science research Laboratory will be given preference.
• Stipend : Rs 6000/- p.m.
