Junior Research Fellow

There will be a walk-in interview for the post of JRF (one) in a DBT, Govt. of India funded research project entitled “Protein-protein interface targeted drug designing” for a period of three years in the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, North Eastern Hill University, Umshing, Shillong-22 on the 26th April, 2013 at 2.00pm.

Candidates interested are to bring xerox copies and originals of all certificates and mark sheets on the scheduled date.

Essential qualification : M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks.

Desirable : Working knowledge of insilico molecular design and chemical synthesis.

Emoluments : Rs. 16,000/- + HRA for the 1st two years and Rs.18,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year for SRF and applicable, only if JRF/SRF is NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified, otherwise it shall be Rs. 12,000/- + HRA for the 1st two years for JRF and Rs.14,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year for SRF.
