Age Limit: Candidate age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years for General candidates, 33 years  for OBC & 35 years for SC/ST candidates for all the posts except for the post of Junior Fireman Post. For Jr Fireman post minimum age is 18 years and Maximum age for Gen 27 years, for OBC 30 years & for SC 32 years as on 20-04-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess SSC /Inter/ B.Sc/ ITI/ Graduate/ PG/ Diploma in Engg in relevant field with desired experience as per the post. Candidates should have valid Driving Licence for Heavy Vehicle / Heavy Goods Vehicles as per the post. Candidates can refer notification for remaining posts qualifications.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay (Rs.300/- for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ST) in ONGC A/c No. 30827318409, Branch Code No.1576 of SBI through the Challan form available in the webiste.

Selection Process: Selection will be strictly on the basis of Written Test/ Physical Standard Measurement/ Physical Efficiency Test/Trade Test, Typing Test (wherever applicable) and personal interview.

How to Apply: Candidates need to apply online through www.ongcindia.com on or before 06-05-2013. Fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe “Application For The Post Of _____ ”on the envelope and send it along with copies of all relevant certificates, DD by post to P.O. Box: 9248, Krishna Nagar Head Post Office, Delhi-110 051 on or before 16-05-2013.

2. Before applying online candidates should download the Challan form and pay the fee as mentioned above.
3. Revisit the website and click on ‘Careers’ and click on ‘Recruitment Notices” and then click on “Southern Sector Rectt”
4. Select the click as per the region and follow the flow chart.
5. Select the post applied and fill in the requisite details in the online application format.
6. Preview the entered details, edit if required, and submit the application.
7. Once you submit your Application, the System will generate a unique Registration Number.
8. Note down immediately the Number and take a print out of your Registration Slip.
9. Printed registration slip with affixed recent passport size photograph attested by Gazette officer, DD and necessary documents must be sent to the above mentioned address on or before 16-05-2013.
