Managing Director

PRCL invites applications for the post of Managing Director for its Corporate Office at New Delhi. The position entails management of the Public-Private Partnership Joint Sector Company, Rail Operations and Marketing of freight traffic of PRCL rail section, Coordination with Ministry of Railways, Zonal Railways & other Ministries. Entrepreneurship initiative for taking up new ventures including Container Operations, Human Resource Development, Problem identification and result oriented approach towards continuous improvement and Innovation in this unique organization to ensure performance and customer focused results at optimal cost in the competitive environment.

Requirements : 

1. Should have more than 25 years of experience in railway working specially rail freight operations, multi-modal operations, commercial working, transport planning and adequate experience at senior levels in the railways along with excellent record of service.
2. Not more than 61 years of age as on 31st March 2013.

Consolidated gross monthly emoluments will be `2,25,000/- plus other perquisites & benefits. Tenure of appointment will be for a period of four years, which can be extended by another one year.
