EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent qualification on the date of this Notification, viz. 28.03.2013 :

• M.Sc., (Forensic Science) Degree and a degree in the subject, for the group as shown in the explanation below to which he/she is appointed or
• M.Sc., Degree in the subject for the group as shown in the explanation below to which he/she is appointed.
• Other things being equal, preference shall be given to a person who holds a degree in M.Sc., (Forensic Science)

• Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800
• Age as on 01.07.2013 : 18 yrs
• Centre For Examination : Examination will be held at CHENNAI Centre (Code No. 001) only.
• Procedure of Selection : Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test.

Examination Fee : Fee of Rs.150/- (i.e. Cost of Application Rs.50/- + Examination fee Rs. 100/-) Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost.
