Research Position : Project Fellow
Duration : 3 years
Title of the Project : Enhancement of repellence activity in Artemisia vulgaris to control yellow fever mosquitoes Aedes aegypti through in vitro precursor and Agrobacterium rhizogenes mediated  transformation.
Value of the fellowship : The fellow is entitled to have fellowship as per the rules of UGC.
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. Botany / Plant Science / Plant Biotechnology degree with  minimum marks of 55%.
Desirable : Basic experience in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation, preference will be given to those who have qualified in UGC / CSIR / NET / GATE tests.
