Educational Qualification and Experience:

• (a) Assistant Professor/ Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer:
  1. Chemistry M.Phil /Ph.D
  2. Mathematics M.Phil /Ph.D
  3. English M.Phil /Ph.D
  4. Physics M.Phil /Ph.D
  5. Computer Science M.E./M.Tech/ in Computer Science & Engineering
  6. Management MBA in Human Resource / Marketing Management
  7. Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering M.E. /M.Tech. / Ph.D. in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Mechatronics /CAD-CAM
  8. Chemical Engineering M.E./M.Tech./Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering
  9. Electrical & Electronics Engineering M.E. /M.Tech. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with B.E./B. Tech.
  10. Metallurgy/Corrosion Engineering M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgy/Corrosion Engineering with B.E./B.Tech.

Scale of Pay: 

• (a) Assistant Professor/ Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer: Candidates will be paid as per the Sixth Pay Scale of Govt. of India and as per CIPET guide lines.
• Assistant Professor in the pay band of Rs.15600-39100 & GP of Rs.7600/- ,
• Senior Lecturers in the pay band of Rs.15600 – 39100 & GP of Rs.6600/- and
• Lecturers in the pay band of Rs.15600-39100 & GP of Rs. 5400/- with DA.
• The total emolument at present comes to Rs. 50740/-, Rs. 43602/- and Rs. 36120/- for Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer respectively. Other facilities will be provided as per CIPET norms.
• (b) Laboratory Assistants & Physical Education Faculty: Attractive salary for the deserving candidates based on the qualification and experience.

Application Form : The candidates must apply in the prescribed format displayed on the institute website www.cipet.gov.in. Applications complete in all respect strictly in the format provided, alongwith necessary enclosures in an envelope superscribing the post applied should be sent to the Administrative Officer, CIPET, B-25, CNI Complex, Patia, Bhubaneswar- 751024, Odisha on or before 21.06.2013.

Selection Procedure :

• Written test of 100 marks will be conducted for short listing of candidates if the applicants are too many. The syllabus for the written test is under graduate level of concerned branch / subject. The test paper will be objective type based on GATE syllabus for respective branch.
• Presentation (20 marks) : Subject knowledge and presentation skills.
• Interview (50 marks) : Personal interview in front of selection committee.
• Final selection will be on 100 marks (qualification and experience 30 marks + presentation 20 marks + interview marks 50 marks)
• Only those candidates will be selected on merit who secures minimum 70 marks out of 100.
