5 Essential qualifications
a) B.Sc. Forestry/B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag./B.Sc. Life Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks or an OGPA of 2.00/4.00 or 5.00/10.00 or equivalent.
b) M.Sc. in Forestry / Agro-forestry / Horticulture / Botany/Genetics & PB/Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology with 60% marks or an OGPA 3.00/4.00 or 6.50/10.00 or equivalent.
The candidates having experience in forestry and agroforestry research supported by the published work will be preferred.
6 Duration 3 years or till the termination of project whichever is earlier
7 Age 35 years for men and 40 years for women 45 years of age for in-service candidates of Agril.Universities
The above age limits are relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
