Project JRF Project Assistant level I and II

Number of Posts :- 4, GEN

• Qualifications : M. Sc. in chemistry with minimum 55% marks. For Project JRF, NET-LS/GATE is required.
• Duration of project : About four years. Initial appointment is for one year and then it will be renewed annually subject to satisfactory performance.
• Fellowship : Project Assistant Level II: Rs.12000/- pm (consolidated), Project JRF (NET-LS/GATE): Rs.14000/- pm (consolidated).
• Age : Maximum 28 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rule.

Job description:

Project I: Development of molecular sensors for analytes for practical use (Network project). Project II: Simulation and Modeling study to design smart functional materials for various applications (Network Project). P-III: Multifunctional electrodes & electrolytes for future technology (Network Project).

GENERAL CONDITIONS :

• Interested candidates are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for written test & interview on 15^th May, 2013 at 9.00 am in this Institute. You are requested to bring with you an application on plain paper giving full particulars such as (1) Full name and postal address with e-mail and Ph. No., (2) Date of birth and (3) Educational qualifications and experience (if any) together with the Xerox copies of certificates/ testimonials. You are also requested to bring with you the following documents:

1. Original Certificates(s), Marksheet(s) (Degree/Diploma, etc.) of the educational qualifications, certificate in support of the date of birth etc. mentioned by you in your application.
2. Original Experience Certificates, Testimonials etc.

JRF/Project Assistant Level –II (One Post)

• Educational qualifications for JRF: M.Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks and NET/LS.
• Emoluments: Rs. 16,000/-PM+HRA for NET qualified and Rs. 12,000/-PM+HRA for NET LS qualified candidates.
• Educational qualifications for PA-II: M.Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks. Emoluments: Rs. 12,000/- PM (Fixed) for PA-II

• Project Assistant Level –II/III   (1 Post)
• Educational qualifications : M.Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks. For PA-III with two years research experience supported by publications.
• Emoluments : For PA-II: Rs. 12,000/- PM (Fixed), for PA-III: Rs. 14000/- PM (Fixed)

• Senior Research Fellow   (1 Post)
• Educational qualifications : M.Sc. (Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks and NET/LS, with two years research experience supported by publications.
• Emoluments : Rs. 18,000/- PM+HRA for NET qualified and Rs. 14,000/- PM+HRA for NET LS qualified candidates.

GENERAL CONDITIONS :

• Energetic and highly motivated research personals are required to work under different projects concern with polymer/material science/separation science.
• Age: Should not be more than: JRF/PA-II – 28 years, for SRF/PA-III – 32 years, as on interview date with relaxation as per CSIR rules for all the above posts.
• Duration: One year and may be extended further for a period of one year based on the performance of the candidates.
• All the above posts are purely temporary in nature. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.
• The interested candidates meeting the above stated requirements may attend the walk-in-interview with applications enclosing a copy of detailed bio-data along with attested copies of all certificates, reprints etc. and the original certificates of qualification, experience, etc. in support of their claim on 15 May, 2013 (Wednesday) at 9.30 am at CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar.
