Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor

Professor

• Pay Band : PB-4 (37400-67000) with G.P. of Rs.8700/- plus Non Practicing Allowance.
• Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years (relaxable up to 5 years for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and the Government Servants) The upper age limit is relaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the instructions/orders of Government of India.
• Educational & Other Qualifications  :
  Essential: A Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent qualification with Post Graduate Qualification/ Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in the subject and five years teaching experience as Reader or Associate Professor.
  Note: The qualification and experience should be recognized by the Dental Council of India or the Statutory Body concerned with the system of medicine as valid teaching experience for teaching posts and certificate thereof or any other valid proof in support thereof should be submitted and a certificate to this effect is to be submitted.

Associate Professor

• Pay Band : PB-3 (15600-39100) with G.P. of Rs.7600/- plus Non Practicing Allowance.
• Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years (relaxable up to 5 years for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and the Government Servants) The upper age limit is relaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the instructions/orders of Government of India.
• Educational & Other Qualifications :
  Essential: A Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent qualification with Post Graduate Qualification/ Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in the subject and four years teaching experience after post graduation.

Assistant Professor

• Pay Band : PB-3 (15600-39100) with G.P. of Rs.6600/- plus Non Practicing Allowance
• Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years (relaxable up to 5 years for employees of the mployees’ State Insurance Corporation and the Government Servants). The upper age limit is relaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the instructions/orders of Government of India.
• Educational & Other Qualifications :
  Essential:A recognized Master of Dental Surgery Degree (MDS) of an Indian University / Diplomate of National Board (DNB) or an equivalent qualification.
  Note: The qualification should be recognized by the Dental Council of India or the Statutory Body concerned as valid for teaching purpose.
