Provided that fulfillment of the requirement of 55% marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC Seven Points scale may be relaxed by the University for SC/ST candidates and departmental candidates subject to the minimum of 50% marks. Provided further that preference will be given to the candidates having administrative experience.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-

HOW TO APPLY

The prescribed application form along with other details may be downloaded from the University website www.nehu.ac.in. Filled in downloaded application must be accompanied by an application fee of Rs. 500/- (Five hundred)  for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- (Two hundred & fifty) for SC/ST  candidates. Person With Disabilities are exempted from payment of application fee. The fee may be paid through Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque drawn in favour of Finance Officer, NEHU payable at Shillong or the fee can also be paid through University Challan. Application in complete form be sent to the Assistant Registrar(Estt.II), NEHU, Mawkynroh, Umshing, Shillong-793022.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUBMITTING APPLICATION

Complete application in the prescribed form, along with the necessary documents in support of qualification, date of birth etc. including application fee may be submitted to the Assistant Registrar (Estt.II),North-Eastern Hill University, Mawkynroh-Umshing,Shillong-793022(Meghalaya). Candidates already in service should send their application through Proper Channel. Advance copy may be sent directly. However, in such cases the candidate called for interview shall have to produce ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ or original application duly forwarded by the Competent Authority. Mere fulfilling minimum qualification does not entail a candidate to be called for interview. The University reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reasons thereof. The University reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up the post. The number of posts advertised may vary. The fees once paid is not refundable. Application received after the last date of receipt of application shall not be entertained Last date for submission of filled in application form is  3.6.2013
