Junior Research Fellowship / Research Fellow

Junior Research Fellowship : 

Two positions of Junior Research Fellowship provided in the scheme, DBT Programme Support for Research & Development in Agricultural Biotechnology” CSS-12 (PC-6007) Sub Project: Genetic engineering and Event Evaluation for Water use efficiency and productivity in rice” and sub Head “Genetics Transforamtion of Citrus rootstock and event evaluation for tolerance to salinity” @ Rs.14,000/- per month fixed +HRA 20%( Junior Research Fellowhship) for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme which ever is earlier

Qualification For the positions of Junior Research Fellowship

(i) B.Sc. with second division i.e. at least 50% marks.
(ii) M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Plant
Breeding,Genetics & Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Botany/Horticulture/Plant
Pathology/Entomology, with at least 6.50/10.00 OCPA or 65% marks.
(iii) Applicant should be a bonafide Ph.D. student of PAU and be willing to work for thesis work under the project mandate.

The candidate should appear for interview on 15/05/2013 at 10.30 A.M. in the office of the undersigned. Research Fellow: 

One position of Research Fellow provided in the scheme, “Mobilizing QTL/Genes for Quality Traits into High Yielding Wheat Varieties” CSS-05 (PC-6014) @ Rs.14,000/- p.m. +20% H.R.A. for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme which ever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications required:

1. B.Sc. with minimum OCPA of 2.00/4.00 or 5.5/10.0 basis or 50% marks..
2. M.Sc. Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with minimum OCPA 3.40/4.00 or 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

The candidate should appear for interview on 17/05/2013 at 11.30 A.M. in the office of the undersigned. No separate information for interview will be sent.
