a) Bachelors degree in Veterinary Science / Dairy Science / Dairy Technology.
b) Ph.D. or equivalent degree in any branch of Dairy Science.
c) A minimum of twenty years of experience in Teaching / Research / Extension in Dairy Science / Dairy Technology out of which at least five years should be as Professor / Principal Scientist.
d) Significant professional achievement in his / her field of specialization.
e) Unblemished record throughout the Career in the past.
