Applications are invited for 01 (one) position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the research  project entitled “Pilot Scale Process Technology for ‘Bhim Kol’ (Musa balbisiana) Slice, Grits  and Powder using  Hybrid Drying  Methods” sponsored by  Ministry of Food  Processing Industries  (MoFPI),  New Delhi  under the Principal Investigator Dr.  Brijesh Srivastava,  Department of Food Engineering and Technology, Tezpur University.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Educational  Qualification: First Class  Masters  Degree in  Food Engineering  &  Technology/ Food  Engineering/Food  Technology/Food Processing  Technology /Agricultural  Engineering/Diary and  Food  Engineering  disciplines.  Those who have qualified  the UGC/CSIR/NET/GATE Examinations or have industrial experience, shall be preferred.

Remuneration: Rs 16,000/­ (Rupees Sixteen Thousand) only per month (Fixed).

Duration: Two (02) years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Age: The Candidate should not be more that 32  years of age on the stipulated  last day  of receiving applications in response to the advertisement. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5  years in the case of candidate  belonging  to  SC/ST/OBC/Women  and physically challenged  categories.

Interested  candidates may send their updated resume to the Principal Investigator of the project  before 18 June, 2013. The date of interview is scheduled on 19/06/2013 at 10.00 a.m.

N.B. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
