Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned speciality after acquiring post graduate qualification as lecturer/Registrar/Senior Resident/Demonstrator /Tutor in a recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution.

 Senior Lecturer (Orthopaedics)
Pay Scale  R. 37,400-67,000/- plus Rs. 8600/-(Grade pay) plus NPA as admissible (Total emoluments excluding TA HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. Rs. 86,825/- p.m. approximately)
Age  Not exceeding 50 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/UTs Govt. Servant upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by Government of India from time to time. (ii)Ph.D.(Medical Microbiology)/D.Sc.(Medical Microbiology) from a recognised University/Institution or equivalent. Age  Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Castes candidates in post reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualificaiton (s)  A. ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
(i) A Degree qualification included in part I or part II of the Schedule to the Dentist’s Act, 1948,
(ii) Should be registered with the Dental Council.
B.EXPERIENCE
2 years experience of Dental work in a hospital or in private practice.NOTE- 1. The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
NOTE-II The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Physically Handicapped, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them
