• 2. Name of the Research Project : “Decoding the dominant microRNA-mediated pluripotency networks in Stem Cells”
• 3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : CSIR, Govt. of India
• 4 Tenure of the Project : 03 Years
• 5 Tenure of the Assignment : 03 Years (based on the performance) OR completion of the project, whichever is earlier
• 6 Job Description : To carry out research work & experiments related to the project and
• to continue/register for Ph.D. on the topic of this project
• 7. Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship : Rs.18,000/- P.M. Maximum (Depending on the position, qualification & experience)
• 8. Essential Qualifications and experience :
• JRF: M.Sc./M.Tech (or equivalent) in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Animal Science/ OR any other branch of biological sciences with minimum 60% of marks or 6.5 CGPA in 10 point scale
• SRF: M.Sc. in any branch of biological science (as above) with 2years of research experiences. Candidates with valid GATE or NET of CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT / (Lectureship/JRF) will be given preference.
• 9. Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : Prior experience in Stem Cells/ RNAi/ Cell culture or other molecular biology techniques and/or bioinformatics programs for microarray and NGS analysis will be preferred. Working knowledge of handling equipments (PCR, RT-PCR, Horizontal Electrophoresis) will be desirable.
• 10. Accommodation : Bachelor accommodation in the hostel will be provided and Campus accommodation may be provided to married students subject to availability.
