A Walk-in-Interview will be held at 11.00 A.M on 10th June, 2013 in the Department of Sociology, Tezpur University for the following position in an ICSSR sponsored Project entitled “Land, Identity and Development in Nagaland” under Dr. Kedilezo Kikhi, Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, Tezpur University as Project Director.

Research Associate

Qualification : Masters in any Social Science Subject [Applicants who have already cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET or JRF) conducted by UGC and/or have experience in research appropriate for the project will be given due weightage].

Remuneration : Rs. 13,000.00 (Rupees Thirteen Thousand) only per month [as per approved emolument of ICSSR].

Duration : 02 (two) years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Age : Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/ OBC/Women/Physically Challenged/Experienced candidates.

N.B: No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board along with the original documents and photocopies of mark sheets, certificates, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate and a copy of recent curriculum vitae (CV).
