Eligible and interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held at the campus of Directorate of Sorghum Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad – 500030 on 28-05-2013 for recruitment of Two Senior Research Fellow, One Technical Assistant and One Field Assistant as per the details given below.

Senior Research Fellow, Technical Assistant & Field Assistant

SRF (2 Nos)

• Project : NAIP (MVC) on “Millets Value Chain”
• Essential: Masters Degree in Agricultural Sciences (Economics / Extension / Agronomy/ Agrl Biochemistry) or M. Tech. or M. Sc. In Food Chemistry/Bio Chemistry or Food Science/Food technology or MABM or MBA with Advertisement and Marketing specialization
• Desirable: Experience in FMCG/Food Sector, Knowledge in Biochemistry of Food & analytical skills & working knowledge in instruments NIR, AAS proximate composition. Knowledge in cultivation of field crops/cereals, extension services, computer skills, ability to 1nalyse statistical data and demonstrated documentation skills.
• Rs.16,000/- plus 30% HRA 31st

Technical assistant (1No)

• Projcet : DSR- Britannia Project
• Degree in Agricultural Sciences or B. Sc. In Food Chemistry/Bio Chemistry or Food Science/Food technology or CABM or with Advertisement and Marketing specialization
• Rs 10,000/ (consolidated)

Field Assistant (1No)

• Project : Tritrophic interactions mediated by induced defence volatiles in sorghum
• Essential qualification: Pass in Degree with at least two years of filed experience
• Desirable qualifications: Work Experience in conducting field experiments, data collection, irrigation, maintenance of pot experiments
• Rs 8,000/ (consolidated)

The above posts are purely temporary and on contractual basis till expiry of the project. The candidates shall submit Applications at the time of interview in the proforma enclosed along with a passport size photograph and a set of attested copies of requisite mark-sheet, certificates and supporting documents. They have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verifications. No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director, DSR is final and binding in all respects.
