Relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit will be admissible for PWD candidates.

Benefits:  In addition to Basic Pay, the pay scale carries industrial DA as admissible. The selected candidates are also entitled to get other facilities such as Medical benefits for self and dependent family members, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave Encashment, Perquisites under cafeteria approach as per rules of the company. In addition, House Rent Allowance will be paid only where company accommodation is not available.
PROBATION:
The selected candidates shall be placed under probation for one year. Confirmation in the post shall be on satisfactory completion of the probation.
SELECTION PROCESS:
For Manager (P&BS): Through written test followed by personal interview of the candidates declared successful on the basis of the written test.  However, in the event ratio of the number of eligible applicants to the number of posts is less than 5:1, the selection will be through personal Interview.
For AGM(P&BS): Through personal interview

Before registering their applications on the website the candidates should possess the following:
a)         Valid e-mail ID.
b)         Demand Draft for Rs.500/- as examination fee for General and OBC Candidates (Rs.100/- as processing fee for SC/ST/ PH candidates).
c)         Candidates should have latest passport size photograph as well as photograph of signatures in digital format (jpg or jpeg file only, of less than 500 kb size) for uploading with the application form.
The demand drafts are non-refundable and should be drawn in favour of ‘STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA LIMITED’ payable at State Bank of India, Lodi Road (Branch Code 6564), New Delhi.
The online registration site would be open from 28.05.2013.
Before applying the candidates should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility norms. Their registration will be provisional. Only those candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be issued admit card/interview call letter. Mere issue of admit card/Interview call letter will not imply acceptance of candidature. Candidature of a registered candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or even on joining, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria at any stage.
After applying online, candidate is required to download the system
generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details with space for passport size photograph & signature. In order to ‘save’ the data entered, applicants should click on the ‘save’ button and then print the Registration Slip.
